Arson suspected in fire at city building, Winnipeg police say

A building owned by the city that burned down Saturday night was likely set ablaze on purpose, Winnipeg police say.

A building owned by the city that burned down Saturday night was likely set ablaze on purpose, Winnipeg police say.

Police were called to a building on ForresterAvenue and St. Anne's Road after reports of a fire.

Police suspect the cause of the fire was arson. No arrests have been made.

Damage is estimated at $50,000, police said.
