'MrJetztv' charged with child porn, prostitution

Darrell Ackman,also known as MrJetztv, has been chargedwith living off the avails of prostitution, as well as making and publishing child pornography.

The 43-year-old, who had been filming young women in Winnipeg and posting videos on YouTube, has also been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.

The charges relate to four girls, all of whom are 14 years old and considered at-risk youth, say Winnipeg police, adding that more charges could be coming.

"At this point, we have four separate victims, and we have eight other victims under the age of 18 that we are in the process of trying to locate," Insp. Gord Perrier told reporters on Wednesday.

"We have individuals that we have identified; we're working closely with social service agencies to locate them."

It's believed that Ackmanapproached the girls on the street and got them involved instreet prostitution and escort agencies, police said, adding they believe he had intended to sell the child pornography.

Police have seized several video cards and cameras as part of their investigation.

Ackman, who is from Winnipeg, alsospent some time living in Florida, where he was arrested inApril 2010 for prostitution-related offences.

Police in that state arrested Ackman in connection with an undercover investigation that resulted in two women being arrested for prostitution,according to a Lee County Sheriff's Office booking sheet.

He was charged under Florida state law with deriving support from the proceeds of prostitution and transporting a person for the purpose of prostitution, according to his arrest and notice to appear document.
