In preparation for this show, I Googled "lintel" apparently, it's the top of a doorway. This knowledge did not prepare me for what I was about to witness.

Deftly handled by Pat O'Brien, Glen Berger's writing takes us on a strange-but-utterly-captivating journey across the world and through history, both real and mythological. Our guide is a rule-obsessed librarian who comes across a strange book and is compelled to investigate a series of clues (uptight librarians being the ideal people for the meticulous research required of such a task).

As our protagonist unravels, we're confronted with existential questions: of life and death, of the consequences of split-second bad choices, and of the duel reality that is the insignificance of one human life and the profound significance of one human life. And, of course, of love.

This riveting one-man show is simultaneously epic in scope and completely relatable. It really doesn't get any better than this, folks.
