Winnipeg police look for 'dangerous' man linked to series of assaults

Winnipeg police are asking the public to help them find a man wanted in connection with a series of assaults, but warn he is dangerous and should not be approached.

Winnipeg police are asking the public to help them find a man wanted in connection with a series of assaults, but warn he is dangerous and should not be approached.

An arrest warrant has been issued forPerez Adaryll Cleveland, who faces multiple charges, including assault, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weaponand possession of a weapon.

The incidentstook place in Winnipeg between Aug. 14 and Sept.27, 2016,said Winnipeg police, who issued an arrest warrant for Cleveland.

He is described as 5-foot-11 and255 pounds, clean shaven with a shaved head. Cleveland was living in the southwest area of Winnipeg but has ties to Ottawa, police said.
