So long, snow: Temperatures set to soar in southern Manitoba

An impatient spring is shoving winter aside in southern Manitoba, bringing warm temperatures for the next several days.

Daytime highs on Thursday will range from 4 C to 10 Cacross the south, with thehighest numbers out west inVirden (10 C), Dauphin (8 C) and Brandon (6 C).

Winnipeg will get a slightly cooler sampling at 4 C but the nextfour days in the city will hit highs between 8 C and 11 C.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are a daytime high of2 C and an overnight low of12 C.
