Missing 12-year-old boy found safe: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a12-year-old boy reported missing earlier this month has been found safe.

Police asked last week for the public's help to find the boy. Hehad been reported as last seen on Oct. 5.

Police said in a news release Wednesday he has been located.

Because he is a minor, CBC News has removed the boy's name and image to protect his privacy.
