Stunt driving charge for Winnipeg man speeding in company truck in Ontario

A Winnipeg man was charged with stunt driving and had his company truck impounded in Ontario after allegedly driving 50 km/h over the speed limit.

A Winnipeg man was charged with stunt driving and had his company truck impounded in Ontario after allegedly driving 50 km/h over the speed limit.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers spotted the 33-year-old speeding down Kings Highway 71 at around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday inthe township ofChapple, about 50 kilometres west of Fort Frances, Ont.

Police suspended the man's driving privilege for a week and impounded the truck for the same amount of time.

He's scheduled to appear in court in Fort Frances on Sept. 15.
