Missing woman whose family hadn't heard from her in over a month found safe, RCMP say

A missing 48-year-old woman from Thompson who was in Winnipegand hadn't been heard from by family members for more than a month has been found safe, RCMP say.

The woman's family reported hermissing on May 10 but told police they had not heard from her since April 9.At that time she was in Winnipeg.

CBC News has removed the photo and name of the woman to protect her identity.
