Dcarie Expressway will be partially closed again this weekend

Several closures and detours are planned so the St-Jacques overpass can be dismantled.

Work crews will be dismantling the St-Jacques overpass for the 3rd consecutive weekend

It's going to be a disastrous drive for athird consecutive weekend for motoristswho rely on theDcarieExpressway.

Several closures and detours are planned so thatworkto dismantle the St-Jacquesoverpass can be carried out, according toTransportsQubec.

Dcarie Expressway 15 South

The closures kick off at 10 p.m. Friday and last until 5 a.m. Monday. Some entrances to the 15 South will close as early at 8:30 p.m Friday.

The following will be off-limits:

  • Complete closure of Highway 15 South between the Sherbrooke exit to the Turcot Interchange.
  • Two of three lanes will be closed between Highway 40 and the Sherbrooke exit.
  • TheRoyalmount, Jean-Talon,Cte-St-LucandGirouardentrances will be closed.
  • Complete closure of the Highway 15 andChamplain Bridge exit from Highway 40 West.

Turcot Interchange

  • Complete closures of the Highway 15, 20 and 720ramps from theDcarie Expresswaysouthbound.
  • Closure of 720 Westaccess ramp to Highway 15 North.

The second phase to dismantle the St-Jacques overpass is expected to take place in the fall.
