Laval car crash results in 2 arrests for impaired driving

An early-morning collision between a car travelling in the wrong direction on Highway 440 and two other vehicles has resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to three people and two arrests for impaired driving.

An early-morning collision between a car travelling in the wrong direction on Highway 440 and two other vehicles has resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to three people and two arrests for impaired driving.

Sgt. Claude Denis of the Sret du Qubecsaid the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Highway 440 near the 24-kilometre mark.

A vehicle travelling in the wrong direction crashed into another car. A third vehicle had its driver's-side door ripped off by the impact.

The driver of that vehicle received minor injuries and has been discharged from hospital.

Police arrested the drivers of the other two vehicles, both for impaired driving.
