Missing 12-year-old girl found safe, Quebec provincial police say

Quebec provincial police say a 12-year-old girl from the Lanaudire region has been found in good health Wednesday after going missing the day before.

Girl was last seen on Tuesday at around 9:30 a.m. in Lavaltrie, Que.

Quebec provincial police say a 12-year-old girl from the Lanaudire region has been found in good health Wednesday after going missing the day before.

According to the Sret du Qubec, the girlwas last seen Tuesday at around 9:30 a.m. in Lavaltrie, a municipality located about 60 kilometres northeast of Montreal.

She was then found Wednesday afternoon inJoliette, Que., about 20 kilometres from Lavaltrie.
