Montreal physiotherapist charged in connection with sexual assaults

Montreal police have charged a 32-year-old physiotherapist in connection with sexual assaults against three femalepatientsand now investigators are launching an appeal for more potential victims.

Maher Mohamed Elsayed was arrested on Oct. 17.

Investigators say the alleged assaults occurred during treatment sessions.

Police have reason to believe there may be other victims.

Two of the allegedvictims live in the Ville-Marie borough and one of them lives in Parc-Extension.

He has worked at several different clinics around the city, police say.

Police are asking anyone who may have been a victim to visit their local police station or call 911to make an official complaint.
