Potato chip truck trailer crunched while making delivery in Saint-Henri

A truck delivering potato chips to a Saint-Henri IGA grocery store took a slice out of the top of its trailer after the driver misjudged clearance at the delivery entrance Wednesday morning.

The driver"didn't evaluate the height properly, and the truck got stuck between the top of the building and the asphalt," John Primiani, chief of operations for the Montreal fire department.

Primiani said the Frito-Lay truck was successfully dislodgedfrom the entrance of the supermarket at3964 Notre-Dame Street West, with the help of police and a tow truck.

"They just lifted the back of the truck, slowly pulled it out, and everything was fine," he said.
