St-Jacques exit barred until late summer

The St-Jacques exit from the Ville Marie Expressway will remain closed six weeks longer than expected, the city of Montreal confirmed Thursday.

The west-end exit will only open in the middle of August.

When the city of Montreal first announced theexit closure in February, it said the work would be completed by the spring.

The exit is closed to allow the construction of new water mains and sewers at the corner of St-Jacques Street and Decarie Boulevard.
