Woman injured after falling on Montreal metro tracks

A woman is in hospital this evening with injuries she sustained after falling onto the tracks in the Plamondon metro station.

Urgences Sant said the woman appears to have only minor injuries, but was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Witnesses said she fell onto the tracks after stepping between two metro cars of a train that was stopped in the station.

The STM is investigating.
