The second-degree murder trial of Dennis Oland continues today after taking a nearly week-long break.

DianaSedlacek, Richard Oland's mistress anda formerSaint John real estate agent,testified on Tuesday that she and Richard Olandwould get togetherabout three times a week, including "fairly frequently" at his uptown office.

Sedlaceksaid the twoalsotravelled together "many times" and were planning a trip to Portland, Maine, just before his death, she said.

JiriSedlacek, DianaSedlacek's former husbandtestified on Tuesday.He saidthathe firstlearned of the affair about 15 months after Oland'sdeath, when his lawyer shared a media report about it with him

Sedlacek, who has since moved out of province, said her husband only became aware of her affair when police questioned him followingOland's death.

Richard Oland,69,was found dead in his office on the morning of July 7, 2011. His son Dennis, 47, is the last known person to see him alive. He has pleaded not guilty to a charge of second-degree murder.
