Jami Springer's family offers $10K reward for information

Jami Springer was last seen late on the afternoon of Aug. 31 on McLaughlin Drive in Moncton.

On Thursday Codiac RCMP released a video appeal by Springer's mother and father, Gillian and Brent Fletcher, and her brother Jordan.

"We know that somebody out there knows something," said a tearful Gillian Fletcher. "We love her dearly and we desperately want to know if she is safe."

In the video Fletcher thanks people who helped raise the reward money and those who have assisted in the search for Springer.

The reward is being offered through Crime Stoppers New Brunswick.

Fletcher also made an appealdirectly to her daughter.

"Jami, honey, if you see this please know that every single morning when I wake up I pray and I hope that this is the day that we are going to hear from you and that we are going to find out that you're safe and OK."

Disappearance suspicious

From the beginningRCMPhave treated Springer's disappearance as suspicious, sayingit was unusual for her to be out of contact with her family for long periods without explanation.

"We are hoping that the reward might incite someone who knows something to call," saidConst. HansOuellette.

"These things don't happen invacuums."

Police are making clear the tip can be anonymous.

"All we need is the information," said Ouellette.

Springer is Caucasian, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

She is five feet, four inches tall and weighs approximately 106 pounds.
