New Brunswick weather: Sunshine will continue on Thursday

CBC meteorologist Peter Coade says an area of high pressure to the west of New Brunswick will bring another mostly sunny day on Thursday.

CBC meteorologist Peter Coade says New Brunswickers can expect more sun than cloud over the next 5 days

New Brunswick is going to enjoy another sunny day onThursday, according to CBC meteorologist Peter Coade.

"This fair weather feature will be sliding south over thenext 24 hours and byFridaywill be drawing some moisture from along the seaboard," said Coade.

"At the same time another disturbance tracking along wellto the north of the Maritimes will add to the unsettled state of our weatherand raise the possibility of a scattered shower in New Brunswick."

Over the next five days Coade says New Brunswick will see more sun than cloud, although he says there will be "quite a dip" in afternoon temperatures on Sunday.

Thursday forecast

The afternoon temperatures across the province should be above 10 C on Thursday.

In northern New Brunswick, Thursday will be mainly sunny with a high near 10 C.Friday will be mostly cloudy with a few showers developing in the evening and a high of 12 C.

The Fredericton area will be mainly sunny with a high near 10 C on Thursday. Theskies will cloud over with a chance of showers late in the evening on Friday and a high near 12 C.

For southern New Brunswick, Thursday will be mainly sunny with a high near 8 C, near 4 C along the coast.

Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening and a high of 12 C, high of 8 C along the Fundycoast.
