RCMP search for missing Chipman man

RCMP are looking for a missing Chipman man whose vehicle was discovered abandoned, stuck in the mud.

Police want to confirm James Austen MacKey, 58, is safe, Cpl. Jim Christensen stated in a release.

MacKey's vehicle was found on Harley Road in Red Bank on Nov. 29.

The RCMP helicopter and police dog searched the area, along with members of the York-Sunbury Ground Search and Rescue, but discovered no clues as to MacKey's whereabouts, said Christensen.

MacKey is described as being about five-foot-eight, 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
