RCMP say Val-d'Amour woman was homicide victim

RCMP now say the woman whose body was found in a Val-d'Amourhouse following a fire on Saturday was a victim of homicide and the fire was deliberately set.

The victim has been identified as Lucille Maltais, 71, who lived in the home.

RCMP were called to the fire scene on Melanson Streeet after firefighters discovered the woman's body inside the home.
