Bonnie and Clyde? Pair holds up St. John's bar

Police are looking for a man and woman who robbed a bar in the central area of St. John's early Wednesday morning.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said a man and a woman entered Steve's Twin Lounge on Ropewalk Lane shortly before closing time.

The pair forced an employee and two customers to the rear of the bar andthen made off with the cash.

The RNC said the suspects appear to be in their 20s, and are wanted for armed robbery - although police are not disclosing what weapon was used.

The man was wearing a dark hoodie and gloves.

The woman was wearing a light-coloured hoodie and leggings.

The pairfled from the scene through the rear door.
