Changing tastes: Legros and Motti moving on

A popular dining spot in downtown St. John's will experience a shakeup when Legros and Motti restaurant closes its doors on Jan. 31.

Harbour Walk Hospitality Group Inc. made the announcement on Saturday, stating that major changes are coming to its building on Harbour Drive.

The Harbour Walk Building houses three restaurants Jack Astor's Bar and Grill, The Keg Steakhouse and Bar and Legros and Motti.

According to a release, the Group is exploring several opportunities for the soon-to-be empty restaurant space;amongthem, relocating The Keg.

The Group said it's looking to moveLegros and Motti to a smaller venue and that the other two restaurants will not be affected by the move.

Gift cards for Legros and Motti will be accepted at the restaurant until Jan. 31. Those gift cards canbe redeemed at The Keg or returned for a full refund.

The building is scheduled to be completed by June 1.
