Since October, hydroponic lettuce has been growing in the CBC NL newsroom in St. John's.

Students with Enactus Memorialdropped off one of their award-winning kits, dubbed Sucseed, Oct. 6.

The system won an award in September at the Enactus World Cup, in part due to the project's social vision. The team says the project is aimed to be a low-price system that can be used in the remote areas.

On Thursday, EnactusMemorial memberAbbieRicketts came back to the CBC newsroom to see how we did.

Watch the results in the video player above, and be sure to check out Debbie Cooper's special hydroponic salad.
