That's a wrap! Frontier finishes filming in Newfoundland

Filming has wrappedonFrontier, a newhistorical drama TV series shot largelyin Newfoundland and Labrador.

Allan Hawco, executive producer and actor, tweeted the news that shooting wrappedWednesday morning.

Frontier cast membersincludeGame of Thrones starJason Momoa, as well as William Belleau, Breanne Hill and Jessica Matten.

The Discovery Canada series, created by RobBlackieand PeterBlackie,will follow the struggle to "control wealth and power in the North American fur trade in the late18thcentury," according to a news release from Bell in April.

The six-episodeseries will debut this yearin Canada on Bell Media platforms including Discovery, Discovery GO, and CraveTV, and on Netflix in international markets.

Discovery ordered the series from Take the Shot Productions, an independent production company that also produced CBC's Republic of Doyle.

It was filmed mostly in this province,but shotin Louisbourg, N.S.,Morrisburg, Ont.,and Cornwall, U.K.
