Music Monday with Chris Hadfield across Canada

There will be aunique celebration across Canada on Monday as students take part in Music Monday.

International Space Station Commander Chris Hadfield will join hundreds of thousands of students in his final live link to Earth before returning home in order to raise awareness about the importance of music education in schools.

This year's official song, I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing), was co-written by Hadfield and Ed Robertson of The Barenaked Ladies.

The song was co-commissioned by CBCMusic and the Coalition for Music Education.

Live webcasts starts at 1:30 p.m. in Newfoundland, 1:00 p.m. in most of Labrador.
