Polar bear tracks spotted on Fogo Island

The RCMPare warning people on Fogo Island to be on the lookout for a polar bear.

There were reports Mondayof a bear near thecommunity of Tilting, and fresh bear tracks were found Tuesday, the force said.

RCMP and wildlife officers areon patrol in the area Wednesdayto see if the bear is still around.

Police are urging anyone who encounters a bear to be extremely cautious and reportany sightings to officials immediately.
