It's an effort to raise money for a scholarship fund in memory of Sharpe's niece, Sara March,a20-year-olduniversity student who was killed in an accident in November 2014.

"She was on her way to work on the Outer Ring Road, and she hydroplaned, and her car flipped and we got that awful call," said Sharpe.

"It changes you. All functions are different."

The scholarship is open to students from her high school in Sydney, N.S.,who plan on going to Memorial University.

The bumper stickers cost $10, and can be purchased at two local businesses,Corner Brook Optical and Island Treasures, or by calling 639-2020.

"This time next year maybe instead of having a sad memory, maybe it will be a more pleasant memory," said Sharpe.
