Shania Twain adding 3rd show at Churchill Park Music Festival

Canadian country-pop star Shania Twain has added a third showin St. John's at the Churchill Park Music Festival, according to her social media pages.

Twain, the headliner of this year's edition of the festival, now has shows scheduled from Aug.16-18.

Tickets for the third show will go on sale at noon NT on Saturday, according to Twain's social media.

General admission tickets for her first two shows went on sale at noon Thursday. The festival posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that tickets were sold out two hours later.

Festival organizer Pete Quinton told CBC News in March that Twain will come to St. John's between two legs of a Las Vegas residency. The festival will likely be her only shows in Canada this summer and possibly this year.

Other artists performing at this year's festival include Alan Doyle, Lindsay Ell and Talk.
