The RCMP said a 62-year-old woman died Tuesday when her car and a motorhome collided on the Trans-Canada Highway, shutting it down for hours. Amid a massive traffic backup, Shane Burry, who owns Glovertown Irving and Robins Donuts, says he kept the business open so people could fuel up, buy snacks and use the washroom.

The sole fatality was a 62-year-old woman.

The RCMP traffic services' collision reconstructionists were on the scene, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been brought in. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
