For about two years, they just played.

Whether together or apart, on stage or in rehearsal, doing covers or originals, the members of Green and Gold put in hundreds of hours playing music before recording their newalbum.

The band's latest musicis"a result of playing with a lot of different people over the last couple of years," says guitarist and singer Len O'Neill. "Just finding a lot of ideas and encountering a lot of different kinds of music."

"I've played in some heavier bands, I played in a Beatles cover band for a while, played bass in couple of other original bands. Steve (drummer Steve Doyle) is always playing too, and so is everybody."

The result is a collection of songs marking an evolution from the sound ofGreen and Gold's 2014 debut album.
