$40K of bikes stolen from Cadence Cycle in Whitehorse

WhitehorseRCMP are investigating after about $40,000worth of bicycleswere stolen from Cadence Cycle on Wood Street over the weekend.

RCMP Const. Dean Hoogland says a caller noticed the glass in the store's front door was broken and phone police at 7:30 on Sunday morning.

"Further investigation within the store found that there were a number of bicycles stolen, all high-end bikes," he said.

Missing are:

• 4 various sizes of Specialized Stump Jumpers
• 2 SpecializedCamber bikes
• 1 SpecializedP20 BMX
• 2 Banshee bikes
• 4 Rocky Mountain bikes
• 1Salsa bike
• 1Soda bike
• 1 Cadet BMX bike

Hoogland says some bicycle accessories were also taken as well as cash from the till.
