Driver dies after car crash in Whitehorse

One man is dead after a vehicle collision at the intersection of Second Avenue and Strickland Street in Whitehorse yesterday afternoon.

RCMP were called to the scene around 3:30 pm.

One of the drivers went into physical distress as police began their investigation. An ambulance took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The 65-year-old man's name is not being released until the family has been notified.
