New Jersey Devils sign Jordin Tootoo for another season

Rankin Inlet's own Jordin Tootoowill be back on the ice with the New Jersey Devils next season, having signed a new contract with the team on Saturday.

The 32-year-oldscratched his way ontothe team'sroster last season after attendingtraining camp as a pro tryout.

This season, Tootooledthe team with penalty minutes, but also had his best goal-scoring year since 2007-08 with 10 goals and 15 points.

The forwardhas59 goals and 90 assists for 149 points and 880 penalty minutes in 607 NHL games.
