The community lost power early Tuesdayafternoon.

Parts are needed from Winnipeg to get an extra generator back in service to restore power. A charter is being arranged to fly the parts to Rankin as soon as possible, however rotating outages will continue until the extra generator is back online.

QEC says it expects the charter flight carrying the parts to repair the generators to arrive at around 8:30 p.m. local time.
