Tulita RCMP arrest 3, seize boat and large amount of liquor

RCMP in Tulita, N.W.T., have charged three people after seizing a large amount of liquor and a boat.

On Sunday, RCMP responded to a complaint in the community and arrested the three people for causing a disturbance, according to a news release.

Upon searching aboat, they found about 50 bottles of vodka and whiskey, and 12 cans of coolers.Tulitahas restrictions on how muchliquor can be brought into the community.

The liquor and the boat were seized.

RCMPsay once they were sober, the three adults were released.

They've been charged with possession of alcohol for the purpose of sale.

They're due in court July 20.
