Sarah Kucera, ex-QEC employee, loses appeal of lawsuit

Aformer Qulliq Energy Corp. employee who sued the company for $440,000 in damageshas lost an appeal of her case.

SarahKuceraworked as the executive assistant to former QEC president Peter Mackey for about 14 months.

In 2013, she sued the corporation for $440,000 in damages, alleging mismanagement, breach of contract and constructive dismissal.

She lost her case in January of last year.

Kucera appealedand today learned her appeal was denied.

In a written decision, the judges said they found no errors in the original ruling.
