Seismic testing off Baffin Island postponed until 2015

A spokesperson for the National Energy Board, Tara O'Donovan, has confirmed that seismic testing off Baffin Island has been postponed until 2015.

The consortium of companies who want to do the testing made the announcement in a letter to the National Energy Board.

In it, they say they need more time to implement all of the terms and conditions imposed on the project.

The companies say they're making preparations to carry out their plans in 2015.
