Whitehorse RCMP arrest 18-year-old sought in Main St. break and enter

Whitehorse RCMP have arrested an 18-year-old suspect who was being sought in connection with a break and enter at an electronics store last week.

14-year-old suspect who had been released re-arrested

Whitehorse RCMPhavearrested an 18-year-old suspect who was being sought in connection with a break and enter at an electronics store last week.

An arrest warrant was issued earlier this week forBenjamin Wright for the break and enter at Triniti Technologieson Main Street June 24. The front window of the shopwas smashed and electronics stolen.

Police found and arrested Wright on Wednesday.

A 14-year-oldmale that police had arrestedand charged onSaturdayin connection with the break and enter was found with Wright.The youth was also taken into custody for allegedly breaching his release conditions.

Both Wright and the 14-year-old male were scheduled to appear in territorial court today.
