Whitehorse RCMP ask for help identifying break-in suspect

The Whitehorse RCMP have released a photo of a suspect in the theft of tools and heavy duty work clothing from a local business.

Whitehorse RCMP are looking for a suspect who stole more than $7,500 worth of merchandise from Northern Industrial Sales.

The merchandise stolen from the business onthe 4200 block of Fourth Ave. included tools and heavy duty work clothing such as Duck work pants and quilt lined overalls.

RCMP say tools and heavy duty work clothing were stolen in the break-in. (RCMP)

Police say an employee arriving at work Wednesday morning discovered the break-in and theft.Investigators from the Yukon RCMP's forensic identification unit are among the officers involved in the investigation.

The RCMP have released a photo in hopes a member of the public can help them identify the suspect.
