2 teens charged so far in electronics store break and enter

An arrest warrant has been issued for Benjamin Wright, 18, of Whitehorse, in connection with a break and enter last week at Triniti Technologies on Main Street.

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Whitehorse man in connection with a break and enter last week at a downtown electronics store.

Benjamin Wright, 18, has been chargedin the break and enter at TrinitiTechnologies Friday and is also facing additional charges.

Police also arrested a14-year-oldmale youthSaturday whois facing break and enter chargesin connection with the theft. He has been released from custody on a Promise to Appear.

WhitehorseRCMPsay they have other youth suspects identified andare attempting to locate them.

The Main Street business, a dealer for Ice Wireless services, was broken into early Friday morning.Thieves smashed a front window to gain entry and stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics. A security camera recorded the incident.

Police searched a Whitehorse home Friday evening and recovered a number of items suspected to have been stolen from the business.

Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information to contact the Whitehorse RCMP at 867-667-5555.
