Yukon conservation officers investigating bison hunt

The Yukon Conservation Officer Service is asking the public for help finding out who hunted a bison on the Aishihik Road in early October.

Yukon government conservation officers are investigating the hunting of a bison on or shortly before Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014.
The conservation officer service says the animal was taken in a closed area at approximately kilometre 8 of the Aishihik Road and was not reported within the 10 day limit.
Officers are asking the public for any information concerning any hunters or other people who may have been in that area that day.
People can call the TIPP line at 1-800-661-0525 or contact the conservation officer Haines Junction.
