Man, 48, dies in crash near Kentville

A 48-year-old man has died followinga crash involving a tractor-trailer near Kentville, N.S.,policesay.

Kings District RCMP and EHS were called to the site of the collision on Riverside Drive in Cambridge Station at around 8 p.m. on Thursday, according to a news release.

The crash involved an SUV and a tractor-trailer that had been travelling in opposite directions, the release says.

The driver of the SUV,a Kentville resident,was the only person in that vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was also travelling alone and was not injured, the release says.
