Dartmouth pedestrian hit, taken to hospital

A woman was taken to hospital late Saturday morning after she was hit by a carwhile crossing a Dartmouth street on a red light.

Halifax Regional Police say the woman was trying catch a bus on Victoria Road near Primrose Street.

Police say the woman wasnt seriously hurt, but she was taken to hospital to be checked over.

She is being ticketed for failing to obey traffic signals and not using a crosswalk.
