Halifax mother, son identified in murder-suicide

Halifax Regional police have identified a mother and son who died in a murder-suicide Friday.

Halifax Regional Police have identified a mother and son who they say died in a murder-suicide Friday.

The bodies of Roberta Jollimore, 75, and her 52-year-old son Greg Jollimore were found in the home they shared on Willow Street in central Halifax.

Police said they believe the son killed his mother, and then himself. Police found the bodies about 2:30 p.m. Friday inside the two-storey home near Oxford School.

Autopsies were performed Saturday, but police have not revealed how or when the pair died. Police said GregJollimore was apparently last seen outside the home late Wednesday afternoon.
