Marine Atlantic crossings delayed due to poor weather

For the second straight day poor weather on the Cabot Strait is affecting ferry service between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland with two crossings delayed by several hours.

Marine Atlanticsays both crossings scheduled to leave at 11:45 a.m. are pushed back.

The ferry leaving North Sydney is now scheduled to departat 4:30 p.m. and the Port aux Basques crossing has been moved to2:30 p.m.

Yesterday Marine Atlantic cancelled crossings due tohigh winds.
