Northumberland Ferries to resume N.S. to P.E.I. crossings

Northumberland Ferries plans to attempt a crossing at 4:30 p.m. leaving Wood Islands, but the 4:30 p.m. ferry from Caribou won't be running.

Company plans to attempt a crossing at 4:30 p.m. leaving Wood Islands

NorthumberlandFerries hascancelled several crossings between Caribou, N.S. and Wood Islands, P.E.I. but plans to resume service with one ferry running Saturday evening.

The first scheduled crossing will be fromWood Islands at 4:30 Saturday afternoon. The 4:30 crossing from Caribou will not be going ahead.

The company plans to depart from Caribou at 6:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., and Wood Islands at 8:00 p.m.

This time of year a ferry typicallyeach province seven times a day starting with a 6:30 a.m departure from Wood Islands and ending with a 9:30 p.m sailing from Caribou.
