Search for James Cuthbert, 71, ends

Police have concluded their search for James Cuthbert, a 71-year-old man who left his Nova Scotia home on Oct. 26 and didn't return.

Investigators believe Cuthbertwent overboard while he was on a ferry from North Sydney, N.S., to Port aux Basques, N.L.,on Oct. 26-27, Halifax Regional Police said Saturday.

Foul play is not suspected, police added.

Police saidinvestigators looked at video evidence andconcluded thatCuthbertwas on the ferry but didn't get off.

Cuthbertleft his home in Head of Jeddore on the morning of Oct. 26. He was last seen that afternoonat the Home Depot parking lotin Dartmouth Crossing.
