A Nova Scotia doctor found not guilty of sexually assaulting one of his patients is now undergoing a disciplinary hearing in front of the College of Physicians and Surgeons about the same matter.

On Monday, the woman who made the accusation detailed how Dr. Oluwarotimi Fashorantigrabbed her breasts when she went to him for test results.

The woman, whose name is protected under a publication ban, said she was injured in a workplace accident.

She didn't have a family doctor and made frequent visits to the emergency departmentat the All Saints Springhill Hospital. She told the college hearing she knew Fashoranti and had seen him nine times before she claims he assaulted her in July 2010.

She said she wanted test results but didn't object when he asked her to lie down in a hospital examination room. That's when she says he pushed up her T-shirt and bra, pinched her nipples and twisted her breasts.

She admits she didn't do or say anything at the time but she claims the assault has left her scared and paranoid.

Fashoranti's lawyer questioned her in detail about her use of painkillers, her extensive medical history and whether she was depressed in the months leading up to the alleged encounter.

He also suggested the woman was testifying at this hearing to further a civil suit she has filed against the doctor.

She responded "the civil suit means nothing to me" and offered to drop it on the spot.

The hearing at the College of Physicians and Surgeons continues on Wednesday.
