3 shots fired into Elmira Drive home Tuesday night, police say

Three shots were fired into a home in Pinecrest neighbourhood on Tuesday night, Ottawa police say.

No one injured; guns and gangs unit is investigating

Three shots were fired into a home in Pincecrest neighbourhood on Tuesday night, Ottawa police say.

It happened at about 10:40 p.m. ET at a home in the 2200 block of Elmira Drive, off Iris Street between Woodroffe Avenue and Greenbank Road.

Three bullets were fired into the home.

No one was injured.

The bullets have been recovered by police, and the guns and gangs unit is investigating.

The shooting comes nearly a week after multiple shots were fired into the room of a homeon Penny Drive, where four children were playing.
