Motorcyclist crashes, dies in Gatineau Park

MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais police say a 30-year-old man from Gatineau left the road on his motorcycle, crashed and died Sunday on Meech Lake Road in Gatineau Park.

MRC des Collines-de-l'Outaouais police say a 30-year-old man from Gatineau left the road on his motorcycle, crashed and died Sunday in Gatineau Park.

It happenedafter 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Chelsea, Que., on Meech Lake Road east of Dunlop Road, policesaid in a news release.

Thevictimwas laterpronounced dead in a hospital, police said. They did not release his name.

The crash happened about two-and-a-half kilometres west of the Gatineau Park visitor centre and about 22 kilometres northwest of downtown Gatineau.
